Week 2 discussion urgent | Psychology homework help

a)  Review the anxiety disorder cases (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) in Brown and Barlow (2017). In case you do not have your casebook yet, I have attached a document containing these five cases for you. I do not have access to any other cases for the upcoming weeks, so you will need to have your book very soon.

(b)  Review the following videos:

  • “Bonnie: PTSD” (located in the Start Here area of the classroom –> MyPsychLab, Video Series link).
  • “Phillip: Generalized Anxiety Disorder” (located in the Start Here area of the classroom –> MyPsychLab, Video Series Link).

(c)  Discuss the diagnosis presented in one of the videos (Bonnie or Phillip). According to DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, explain whether the individual either meets or does not meet full criteria for the diagnosis in DSM-5, based on the symptoms reported in the video.

(d) Discuss the differential diagnosis. (i.e., several disorders may have overlapping symptoms. Which other diagnoses have similar symptoms, and why would they not be diagnosed in this particular case?)
