The levels of evidence are an important part of all evidence-based practice. Understanding the levels and why they are necessary to the research is a great way for the reader to become involved. There are different levels of evidence that begin at a level one being the most factual, and level four being either old information that is not relevant anymore, or it is not factual anymore through new evidence. It is important that the researcher read all levels because it provides a huge story line of where and how we got to the practices we perform today.
